These ingredients work wonderfully with each other. The dish turns out to be tasty, satisfying and appetizing. At the same time, a minimum of effort is expended on our part. Simply put, all the ingredients are thrown into the pan and in an hour the dish is ready for several people.
In addition, the taste of the food can be supplemented with any vegetables and spices. And there is no significant difference in how to use mushrooms. It can be not only champignons or oyster mushrooms, but also forest mushrooms. Moreover, it is allowed to use pickled, frozen or dried. Cabbage for cooking is suitable fresh white or sauerkraut, or a mixture of them. Ingredients:
- White cabbage - 1 kg
- Mushrooms - 500 g (frozen in this recipe)
- Condiments, herbs and spices - to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Step by step cooking fried mushrooms with cabbage, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the cabbage under running water and dry with a paper towel. Remove the top inflorescences as they are usually dirty. Chop the cabbage into thin strips and send to a heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry it over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
2. Defrost the frozen mushrooms, place in a sieve, rinse under running cold water and leave all excess moisture to the glass. Cut large mushrooms into medium pieces, leave small ones intact. In another skillet, heat the oil and add the mushrooms. Fry them over moderate heat until golden brown.
If the mushrooms are dry, then steam them with boiling water for half an hour, then cut and also fry. Wash and fry the mushrooms and oyster mushrooms without prior preparation.
3. Combine cabbage with mushrooms in one pan.
4. Season food with salt, black pepper and any spices and herbs. Stir, cover the skillet with a lid and simmer for about 20 minutes to keep the cabbage crisp. If you want the mushrooms with cabbage to be stewed rather than fried, then cook them under the lid until soft.
