Step-by-step preparation of minced meat cutlets in the oven under a cheese crust, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, cut off the film with veins, dry it with a paper towel and twist it through a meat grinder. Add salt, black pepper and any spices to it. For example, basil, cilantro, parsley, nutmeg, paprika, paprika, saffron, ginger powder, etc.
2. Mix the minced meat well and do the following manipulation: take it with your hands, lift it up and throw it back into the bowl. Do this 5-7 times. This will allow the fibers to release gluten, which will keep the patties in shape and will not fall apart when baked.
3. Form minced meat into flat round patties, slightly thinner than usual, and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Brush them with ketchup and sprinkle with chopped garlic.
4. Peel the onions, wash and chop finely. Divide it over the patties and top with mayonnaise.
5. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on the cutlets. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the dish to bake for half an hour. Do not keep them in the oven for longer, so as not to dry out. Serve hot minced meatballs in the oven under a cheese crust.
