Harm and contraindications to the use of irgi
Since such a berry, prepared by the drying method, belongs to dried fruits, you cannot eat much of it. If abused, it can cause severe abdominal discomfort, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, heartburn, pain in the right hypochondrium, radiating to the lower body. It is also important that this can cause the development of diabetes due to a sharp increase in blood sugar levels, since there is too much of it in cinnamon.
Before eating this berry, you need to study the contraindications to irga, which may be as follows:
- Low pressure … Caution will not hurt here because such a product narrows blood vessels and is effectively used to combat hypertension. Naturally, with hypotension, it can only worsen the situation and lead to severe dizziness.
- Diabetes … It is worth responding to both with the first type of the disease, and with the second. It is necessary to exclude cinnamon from the menu, even if the blood glucose level is within the permissible range, but above average - from 5.2 to 5.8 mmol / l. This recommendation is dictated by the large amount of sugars in the berry.
- Poor blood clotting … Under such circumstances, you cannot eat foods that dilute it and dilate blood vessels. Irga in any form also belongs to them.
- Gastroenterological diseases … During the period of remission, you can afford a little dried sirgi, but with an exacerbation of enterocolitis, gastritis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, it should be removed from the menu for a while.
- Individual intolerance … If it occurs, the patient will complain of strong mucus from the nose, cramps and sore throat, a rash on the body. If you still want to eat some dried berries, you need to soak them for 1-2 hours before eating.
- Few teeth in the mouth … This is especially true for children under 2 years of age who are not yet able to chew solid food on their own. It is definitely impossible to call cinnamon a soft product, so if a child asks for it, then the berry should be given only in a form crushed with a meat grinder.
Corinka has pronounced sedative properties, so it should be used with great caution by people who are required to be extremely focused at a certain moment (for example, drivers during a flight).

Interesting facts about irgu
Irga fell in love not only with culinary specialists, but also with landscape designers; in warm countries, she is used to decorate streets and parks. A particularly beautiful view opens from May to July, when the plant actively blooms and smells. The bush can please the eye up to 50-70 years, and starting from the second or third year after planting, it already bears fruit constantly. In one season, it is possible to collect up to 15 kg of berries from it.
Irga is not susceptible to pest attacks, therefore it is considered quite simple to cultivate. The only thing she needs to grow successfully is light, warmth and moisture. Most agronomists do not use any fertilizers, and the harvest is good without them.
Drying the cinnamon is the easiest way to store the berry, since it is available fresh for no more than two months. After freezing, irga loses its taste, and as a result of heat treatment, its chemical composition changes greatly. Drying is not difficult at all.
Ready-made cinnamon can be stored for more than a year, but the longer this happens, the harder it becomes. Over time, a dense crust forms on it, in which soaking the berry is the only way to make it softer.
Finding such a product is not at all a problem, it is usually sold alongside nuts and dried fruits. But it is better to buy it packaged because of the ability of the berry to absorb foreign odors and moisture.
