Or the dish is a multi-layered structure consisting of beaten meat with the addition of vegetables and cheese. In this case, the cheese makes the dish appetizing and holds the food together, and thanks to its golden crust, it gives a piquant taste. This dish can be both everyday and festive. Depending on tastes and traditions, the chop is made from pork, beef, veal, chicken. However, pork is best for the dish. She has juicy and tender meat, which beef or chicken does not. However, here, you should adhere to some recommendations.
- Use meat without tendons, films or fat.
- The juiciest chops come from chilled meats.
- If the pulp is frozen, then when defrosting it loses a lot of juice, which has a bad effect on the quality of the finished dish.
- The meat is cut into portions 1, 5-2 cm thick.
- To soften the fibers, beat off the fillets with a kitchen hammer. This makes it thinner and cooks quickly.
- It is not necessary to beat the meat hard so that there are no breaks. It is enough to beat off to a thickness of 0.5-1 cm.
- If there are gaps, they will be hidden by breading or batter.

- Pork steaks or tenderloin - 3 pcs.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Mustard - 3 tsp
- Cheese - 100 g
- Tomatoes - 1 pc.
Step by step cooking pork chops in a pan with tomatoes and cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the meat into 1, 5 cm steaks or buy ready-made pieces. Use a hammer to beat the pork on both sides so that they are no more than 1 cm thick.
2. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat well. Then add the beaten meat.
3. Turn on a high heat, slightly over medium, and roast the pork for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown and turn over to the other side.
4. Brush the seared side of the chop with mustard.
5. Season the meat with salt, black pepper and any spices and herbs.
6. Sprinkle the chop with finely chopped garlic.
7. Wash the tomatoes, dry them, cut into 5-7 mm rings and place on the chops.
8. Place the grated cheese on a medium grater on top of the tomatoes. Cover the meat with a lid, turn on low heat and cook the pork chops in a skillet with tomatoes and cheese for 5 minutes. It is necessary for the cheese to melt and the meat to become soft and tender.
