It is completely different from ordinary beans: it has a different taste, color and texture. Legumes are useful with a high content of fiber, carbohydrates and sugars, as well as a large amount of micro and macronutrients. Asparagus is good for the digestive system because removes harmful substances and toxins from the stomach. Due to the high carbohydrate content, meals with it are always nutritious. This plant also contains protein, which is a building material for the cells of the body. For vegetarians and people who are fasting, it can replace animal protein. Moreover, it does not require long heat treatment. This is a simple, tasty and satisfying dish that takes a little time to prepare. You can use asparagus fresh or frozen. Although you can buy it in the supermarket as a stand-alone or in bags of frozen vegetables. Ingredients:
- Pork ribs - 600 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Asparagus - 300 g
- Basil or any other greens - a few twigs
Step by step cooking fried ribs with onions and asparagus, recipe with photo:
1. Place the asparagus in a sieve and rinse under running water. Send it to a saucepan, add salt and cover with water. After boiling, cook it over low heat, covered for 4-5 minutes.
2. Tilt the boiled asparagus on a sieve to glass the water. Trim the ends on both sides and cut the pods into 2-3 pieces, depending on the size.
3. Peel the onions, wash and chop into thin half rings.
4. Wash pork ribs, dry and cut into bones.
5. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat. Add onions and sauté over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then add the pork ribs.
6. Continue to fry the meat and onions until tender. Season food with salt and black pepper.
7. Send the chopped asparagus to the meat pan.
8. Stir and fry foods over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
9. At the end of cooking, add finely chopped herbs to the pan, stir and remove from heat. Serve the cooked fried ribs with onions and asparagus after cooking.
