Pumpkin-oatmeal porridge with honey in milk powder is a very useful dish for the body and health. This food is incredibly light and easy to prepare. Such porridge is included in the dietary and children's menu, as well as in the nutritional schemes of those who are on a diet or want to get rid of extra pounds. It is worth mentioning the benefits of this dish. Hercules porridge has an enveloping effect, which has a good effect on the gastrointestinal tract. Pumpkin is no less useful, it benefits people with cardiovascular diseases and anemia. Honey is a whole complex of vitamins. In general, this dish is recommended for overweight people. It is enriched with proteins, fats, carbohydrates, including cellulose and glucose, as well as minerals and trace elements.
This porridge is a quick breakfast "whip up" without cooking. Therefore, it is necessary to use instant flakes such as oatmeal. If you or someone in your family does not like oatmeal, then you can mask its taste by adding all kinds of additives. In this recipe, I used pumpkin, honey and citrus fruits. But to make the oatmeal to taste even the most fastidious eaters and gourmets, the range of flavoring ingredients can be expanded by adding apples, raisins, nuts and many other products.

Step by step cooking pumpkin-oatmeal porridge with honey in milk powder, recipe with photo:
1. Take a container in which you will cook porridge. It can be a jar, plate, bowl, glass, mug, etc. Pour oatmeal into the dish of your choice.
2. Add boiled pumpkin and honey to the oatmeal. Peel the pumpkin with seeds and fibers in advance. Cut into slices and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender. It can also be baked in an oven. Using the second method, more useful vitamins will be retained in the vegetable, because during cooking, some of them are boiled. If you are allergic to bee products, replace honey with brown sugar or your favorite jam.
3. Add milk powder and orange peel to the food.
4. Pour boiling water over everything, stir and cover with a lid. Hot milk can be used instead of milk powder and boiling water.
5. Leave the porridge for 10 minutes to allow the oatmeal to swell and grow. Then serve the porridge to the table right in the container in which it was cooked.
