Incredibly fragrant, with a pronounced sourness, apples perfectly set off and complement the taste of the biscuit. In the simplest version, apples are thinly sliced and laid out on the bottom of a baking dish, and poured on top with dough made from eggs, sugar and flour.
Although today there are already many recipes for charlotte, which are numbered in dozens. Sometimes it even seems that it is baked with absolutely anything and from anything - from rusks, cottage cheese, eggplant, bread, potatoes … However, no matter what charlotte is made from, the recipe is so simple that any novice cook can handle it. - Flour - 200 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Sugar - 100 g or to taste
- Apples - 1-2 pcs.

- Cognac - 30 ml
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
Cooking apple charlotte
1. Separate the eggs into whites and yolks. Drive the yolks into the container in which you will continue to knead the dough.
2. Add sugar to the yolks and beat with a mixer until light and white foam is formed, which doubles in volume.
3. Pour flour to the food, which if possible sift through a sieve so that it is rich in oxygen. Then the cake will be more fluffy and tender.
4. Stir the food until you get a slightly thick dough. Add baking soda and pour in cognac, which can be replaced with any alcoholic beverage: rum, whiskey, brandy. Knead the dough again.
5. Beat the whites with a mixer in a firm, tight foam until peaks and an airy white foam.
