Granola is a traditional snack for the USA and Canada. Although even in our country it is now quite difficult not to know what granola is. They talk about her everywhere, upload photos and often offer her for breakfast in cafes. However, this interesting name hides a simple base composition that varies depending on the chef's imagination! So, granola is oatmeal with any additions. It can be nuts, honey, fruits, dried fruits, seeds … - whatever you like, without restrictions. Only taste and wallet can dictate what to use in food.
The preparation method for gronola is quite simple. The selected products are mixed and baked in the oven until crisp. During the baking process, the mixture is stirred periodically to achieve a crumbly consistency similar to breakfast cereals. The result is a healthy and nutritious breakfast or snack throughout the day. Today we'll make a generous homemade granola. It goes well with yogurt or milk, cocoa or coffee. It can be used as a proper and healthy dessert for those who are nutritional and health conscious.

Ingredients:
- Oat flakes - 200 g
- Ground ginger powder - 0.5 tsp
- Peeled sunflower seeds - 100 g
- Peeled pumpkin seeds - 100 g
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp
- Honey - 100 ml
- Sesame seeds - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - 4 tablespoons
- Dried apricots - 100 g
Step by step preparation of generous homemade granola, recipe with photo:
1. Place peeled oatmeal, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds in a large, deep container. Add sesame seeds and walnuts.
2. Wash dried apricots under running cold water, dry with a paper towel and cut into small pieces. Send it to the groceries and add ground ginger powder and cinnamon. If the dried apricots are dense, pour boiling water over them for a short time so that they become soft and elastic.
3. Add odorless vegetable oil to all ingredients.
4. Pour honey next. If it is dense, pre-melt it in a water bath or microwave to a liquid consistency.
5. Stir the food well. Place them on a baking sheet or skillet and place them in a preheated oven to 150 degrees.
6. Dry food periodically (every 5 minutes), stirring for about 45 minutes, until crisp and crumbly. Then cool the mixture completely, transfer it to a clean glass jar and store in a dry, ventilated place.
