All ingenious is simple! This axiom can be safely applied in cooking. You can take the simplest ingredients like potatoes, onions, carrots, some minced meat and make a great meal that will satisfy the whole family. Potato soup with meatballs is just such an ingenious dish in its simplicity. Even a novice cook can handle such a soup. A detailed photo recipe will make the cooking process even easier.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Greens - 1 bunch
- Salt, pepper - to taste
- Water - 2 l
- Minced meat - 400 g
- Bay leaf - 1-2 pcs.
- Black peppercorns - 5-7 pcs.
- Vegetable oil for frying
Step-by-step preparation of potato soup with meatballs
We start, as usual, with the preparation of vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots, wash and chop finely. If you prefer grated carrots, use a grater.
Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into small cubes. Pour water into a saucepan, throw potatoes into it.
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and lightly fry the onions and carrots in it.
Now let's do the minced meatballs. If you are cooking from the store, then it is enough to bring it to taste by adding salt and a little pepper. What kind of minced meat you choose depends solely on your desire: pork, beef, chicken or assorted.
Little by little pinching off the minced meat pieces from the main piece, we form the meatballs by rolling the balls in our palms. For convenience, place a container of cold water next to it and periodically dip your hands into it so that the minced meat does not stick.
By the time you roll the meatballs, the potatoes will have time to cook. Remember to skim off the foam when it starts to boil. Add salt towards the end of cooking.
Add frying to the soup base.
The meatballs are gently immersed in the soup so as not to burn themselves with hot sprays, cook, stirring, for 10-15 minutes. We bring the soup to taste with salt and pepper.
Dill or parsley greens, sort out and chop finely. Throw greens, bay leaves and peas of black and allspice into the ready-made soup, let it boil for just a minute or two and turn off the heat.
