Lazy curd dumplings can help out when you urgently need to quickly prepare a hot, hearty family breakfast. This dish is for all time, while it gives a huge scope for culinary experiments and imagination. But if you do not know how to approach the recipe, then let's correct such an injustice. Indeed, despite all the simplicity of cooking, lazy dumplings also have their secrets.
Tricks of making lazy dumplings
- The cottage cheese should be fatty and preferably homemade, while in no case sour. Its consistency should be uniform, this is a very important point.
- Do not use a lot of flour, because curd grains should be felt in the dumplings.
- If possible, do not be lazy to grind the cottage cheese through a sieve or beat it with a blender.
- Never overcook dumplings. As soon as they come up, immediately take them out, otherwise they will become "jelly". Naturally, it is edible, but not very tasty.
Tip: in order not to fiddle with the preparation of the dough often, make dumplings, which you store in the freezer. To do this, put the dumplings on a plate sprinkled with flour and freeze, and then put them in a bag. Frozen dumplings are cooked in the same way as freshly cooked ones, without preliminary defrosting. It will be enough to remove them from the freezer and immediately lower them into salted boiling water. Well, now, be patient, roll up our sleeves higher - and get down to business!

Cooking lazy dumplings with chocolate
1. Wipe the curd through a sieve, or beat with a blender. If time is limited, then at least remember it with a fork. Add flour, salt, sugar and beat in an egg.
2. Chop the chocolate with a knife and add to the container with all the products. I advise you not to use a grater so that grains of chocolate are felt in the dumplings. Optionally, you can use milk or white chocolate.
3. Knead the dough well.
4. Powder the surface of the table or plank with flour. Lay out the curd dough and roll it out with a sausage.
5. Then use a sharp knife to cut the curd sausage into about 3 cm pieces.
6. Pour drinking water into a saucepan, add salt and place on the stove. When the water boils, lower the lazy dumplings with chocolate to boil and stir them immediately so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan. As soon as the dumplings float, and this will happen literally in 1 minute, immediately remove them from the pan with a slotted spoon. Place the dumplings on a plate and serve immediately.
