Bruschetta is a national Italian dish with a beautiful name, which is one of the varieties of sandwiches. Previously, the snack had a "low" origin, so it was prepared exclusively for field workers. Now it has gained popularity and can be found in any Italian cafe and fast food. Usually for bruschetta they use "yesterday's" bread or freshly fried in a dry frying pan. It is greased with olive oil and rubbed with a clove of garlic. The rest of the products can be varied: tomatoes, meat, sausage, cheese, basil, bell peppers, tarragon sprigs, shrimps, oregano, parmesan, etc.

The simplest bruschetta in the minimum "set" is bread with sausage, cheese and cucumbers, which we will cook today. The main ingredient here is sausage, which goes well with many products. Therefore, you can endlessly experiment with filling, for example, instead of a cucumber, take tomatoes or rings of fried eggplant, and replace cheese with feta or mozzarella. Such a sandwich will help out when you want to quickly have something tasty to eat. Indeed, it takes a few minutes to prepare it. And for breakfast, it is especially good to serve bruschetta hot, warming it up in the oven, roaster or microwave.

1. Fry a slice of bread in a dry frying pan over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Although you can adjust the degree of frying yourself, it will be enough even to dry the bread slightly.

3. Brush the toasted bread with olive oil and add the sausage slices. If you are making a sandwich for dinner, you can grate the bread with a clove of garlic, as suggested by the original bruschetta recipe. If you are preparing a dish for breakfast, then you do not need to do this, because garlic has a pungent smell.
