In winter, there is always a lack of juicy and fresh tastes. Therefore, I propose a recipe for a light fresh salad with Chinese cabbage, apples and chicken. It will perfectly complement any menu with freshness and vitamins. Curly Peking cabbage and juicy apple slices are not at all burdensome with chicken. If desired, you can add grated raw carrots, pieces of cheese, and even raisins to this salad. Here you are allowed to fantasize freely. In this recipe, I added boiled eggs, which added satiety and tenderness. If you boil them in advance, then the preparation of this dish will take very little time.
It is not necessary to take Peking cabbage in this salad. White cabbage, red cabbage, and kohlrabi are also suitable. Also, any kind of fresh salad can be used together with cabbage: green or red. I dressed the salad with vegetable oil, but if you wish, you can use mayonnaise or sour cream. The salad will still not have a lot of calories, so it is suitable for tasting for those on a diet. The salad can be served either for lunch or for breakfast or dinner as a side dish to the main meat dish, or it can be used on its own.

Ingredients:
- Peking cabbage - 5 leaves
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Apples - 1 pc.
- Salt - a pinch
- Smoked chicken breast - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for dressing
Step-by-step preparation of salad with Chinese cabbage, apples and chicken, recipe with photo:
1. Remove the leaves from the Chinese cabbage. Wash and pat dry with a paper towel. Use a sharp knife to cut into thin strips. If you will not cook and eat the salad right away, then do not wash the cabbage in advance, because the leaves will wither and lose their "curliness".
2. Place eggs in cold water and boil hard boiled for 8 minutes after boiling. Then put them in ice water and cool well. Peel and cut into cubes.
3. Cut the smoked chicken breast into the same slices as the eggs. Instead of smoked meat, boiled or baked chicken breast is suitable.
4. Rinse the apple and dry it with a paper towel. Use a special knife to remove the core and cut into medium-sized cubes.
5. Place all food in a deep bowl.
6. Season salad with vegetable oil and salt and stir. If you wish, you can chill it a little in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
7. Transfer the prepared salad to a serving dish and serve.
