I am sharing a very tasty and interesting salad recipe with shrimps, Chinese cabbage and apples. It is very simple to prepare, it turns out satisfying and beautiful. The dish is suitable not only for an everyday meal, but also for a festive table.
The combination of fresh cabbage with apple and seafood, in the absence of mayonnaise, makes the salad not only healthy, but also dietary! All products are perfectly combined with each other and do not leave heaviness on the stomach. The salad is light and juicy, therefore it will especially delight those who follow the figure and weight. It is very low in calories, but it has many benefits for improving metabolism and health. The salad is dressed with vegetable oil, but you can use extra virgin olive oil in a company with apple cider vinegar.

- Chinese cabbage - 3 large leaves
- Vegetable oil - for dressing
- Apple - 1 pc. medium size
- Salt - large pinch or to taste
- Boiled-frozen shrimps - 150 g
Step by step cooking salad with shrimps, Chinese cabbage and apples, recipe with photo:
1. Pour the frozen shrimp with boiling water, cover and leave for 10 minutes to thaw and warm to room temperature. Since they are boiled and frozen, they do not need cooking. Although there are recipes where boiled-frozen shrimps are cooked with dill and spices.
2. Remove the required number of leaves from the head of Chinese cabbage. Wash them with cold running water, dry with a paper towel and chop them into thin strips.
3. Rinse the apple and dry it with a paper towel. Use a special knife to remove the core and cut the apple into strips. Whether to clean it or not is up to the cook. Without the skin, the salad will be softer, but with it it will be healthier.
4. Remove the shrimp from the water, remove the head and peel off the shell.
