Asparagus beans, or as it is also called - green beans, is an excellent vegetable that is widely used in cooking in many countries of the world. A young plant cooks quickly, but it always turns out delicious. In addition, it is sold fresh frozen, from which it is available all year round. Of the many different dishes, fried asparagus beans are considered the simplest. This is a quick and tasty meal that is very easy to prepare. In just 20 minutes you will have not only tasty, but also healthy food for the whole family. The finished treat will turn out appetizing and pleasantly crunchy. It is suitable both for a dinner table and for breakfast or dinner.
Fried asparagus beans are delicious on their own. But if you wish, you can cook it with eggs. Of course, in this case, the calorie content of the dish will slightly increase. But this interpretation will still be delicious. And to further enhance the flavor palette, you can add tomatoes, dill, cilantro and other products. Greens will give aroma, and tomatoes - juiciness and with a slight sourness. Still delicious beans are obtained with bacon, ham, boiled meat, mushrooms, cheese. The variety of asparagus beans does not matter. It can be both common green beans and yellow, purple, long Chinese beans. The main thing is to make the food tasty, use young pods with juicy pulp.

Ingredients:
- Asparagus beans - 400 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch (optional)
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
Step by step cooking of fried asparagus beans, recipe with photo:
1. Place the asparagus beans in a sieve and rinse under running water.
2. Send it to a saucepan, fill with drinking water, salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the temperature to the lowest setting, cover the pot and cook the pods for 5 minutes.
3. Place the beans on a sieve and cool slightly to avoid scalding.
4. Cut off the ends of the pods and cut them into 2-3 pieces, depending on the size.
5. While the beans are cooking, peel the onions, wash them and chop them into thin half rings.
6. In a frying pan in vegetable oil, sauté the onions until soft and transparent.
7. Send the boiled and chopped asparagus beans to the onion pan.
8. Stir the food and continue frying for another 5-7 minutes. At the end of cooking, sprinkle vegetables with chopped herbs. If desired, you can season your meal with black pepper or any other spices and herbs. Serve the cooked fried asparagus beans hot with any side dish or on their own.
