A very unusual and spectacular, but most importantly useful snack for a festive feast - semicircular lemon slices, sprinkled with powdered sugar and finely ground brewed coffee. The history of the emergence of this snack goes back to the past, even during the reign of Nicholas I! The name of the appetizer was popularly received by Nikolashka, precisely on behalf of the loving Emperor Nicholas I. According to legend, Nicholas I tried French cognac, which seemed to him strong enough. The emperor had a slice of lemon at his fingertips, which he later ate on cognac many times. Another version says that the appetizer was invented in the palace kitchen of Nicholas II, where it was determined that the bouquet of cognac is best set off by lemon. But be that as it may, the process of seizing strong alcoholic beverages with lemon has taken root since then and has come down to our days.
As for the benefits of such a combination, many doctors claim that lemon improves the processing of alcohol and partially neutralizes it! Naturally, not completely, but some part of it. The same goes for coffee. Having a bite of a glass of an intoxicating drink with a circle of lemon, we bring benefits to our body, which stops the terrible consequences after a feast. In addition, the appetizer has an interesting taste.
