Just 15 minutes and the dough is ready, another 15 minutes in the oven and a cloud of seductive chocolate aroma hovers around the house. It turns out an unpretentious treat that is soft, with a rich chocolate taste, high, aromatic and very beautifully overcame. Airy, porous and as if soaked with chocolate, small aromatic "muffins" can turn an ordinary day into a real holiday. Walnuts give a good contrast, which can be replaced with any other nuts. You can enhance or reduce the taste of chocolate notes yourself by adjusting the dosage of chocolate or cocoa powder. - Instant coffee - 5 g
- Dark chocolate - 100 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Butter - 80 g
- Sugar - 3-4 tablespoons
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Walnuts - 50 g
Making Chocolate Nut Muffins
1. In a large, clean bowl, place the broken chocolate slices, instant coffee and butter.
2. Send the bowl to the steam bath and melt the food. When the butter has melted, remove the bowl from heat. Do not hold it until the chocolate has melted, otherwise the butter will start to boil, making the products hard.
3. Stir the food. Since the chocolate has already become soft and the butter is hot, it will quickly melt and turn into a homogeneous mass.
4. Beat eggs into a bowl and add sugar with a pinch of salt.
5. Beat eggs with a mixer until they double in volume, acquire a lemon color and form bubbles on the surface.
6. Pour the egg mass into the chocolate mixture.
7. Stir again with a mixer until smooth.
8. Sift the flour through a sieve and add it to the bowl with the liquid ingredients. Add baking soda.
9. Knead the dough until smooth so that there are no lumps. Pierce the walnuts in a dry frying pan. Break in medium pieces and add to the dough.
10. Knead the dough and pour into paper tins. You can use iron muffin tins, but brush them with butter. Silicone molds do not need to be lubricated.
11. Heat the oven to 180 ° С and bake the products for 15-20 minutes. Depending on the time spent in the oven, the muffins will have a softer or denser texture.
12. Sprinkle the products with icing sugar and serve them to the table with tea, coffee or a scoop of ice cream.
