In this review, I will tell you how to make a sweet healthy dessert from cottage cheese, crackers and bread. Such an original delicacy will become a real highlight for your table, both for family tea drinking and for a noisy party.
For this recipe, I recommend taking soft homemade cottage cheese, because it has a more pronounced taste compared to a store product. The fruit filling in this recipe is prunes. However, other fruits, berries and dried fruits can be used with equal success. Whatever you choose, be it strawberries, raisins or bananas, you can rest assured that the sweetness will be delicious and will delight all eaters at the table! You will never be able to spoil this dessert, even if you try very hard. Cooking dessert without baking from cottage cheese, prunes and bread:
1. Place the cottage cheese and sugar in a food processor using the slicer attachment.
2. Whisk the curd until smooth to break up any lumps.
3. Remove the butter from the refrigerator beforehand so that it reaches room temperature. Then cut into cubes and put in the food processor with the curd. Whisk the food again to distribute the oil evenly throughout the mixture.
4. Place the curd mass in a large mixing bowl. Wash the prunes, dry with a paper towel, cut into smaller pieces and put in a container with cottage cheese. If there are seeds in the berries, then remove them first.
5. Break croutons and crispbread into small pieces no more than 1, 5 cm in size and put to the curd mass.
6. Stir the food until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Look at the consistency of the mass. If it is too runny, add more bread crumbs or loaves. Accordingly, and vice versa - the mass is dry, then you can add more butter, pour some coffee, milk, etc. bringing it to the desired texture. Since cottage cheese can have both dry and wet consistency, the number of products used is given conditionally.
7. Using a tablespoon and a dessert spoon, shape the cakes into balls about 3-4 cm in size and place on a serving platter. Sprinkle the products with almonds and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to freeze the mass. then you can serve the sweetness to the table.
