At the same time, experienced housewives know that they are tasty and healthy. Therefore, they are used for preparing first and second courses, both for the festive table and for everyday meals. Today we'll talk about how to cook chicken offal with zucchini. It turns out the dish is so tender that it just melts in your mouth.
As giblets, you can take any offal, today I preferred to use the liver and stomachs. I will make a comment - since the stomachs take longer to reach readiness than the liver, the ingredients are laid sequentially. But you can leave only one kind of offal or replace it with any other. Also, offal can be not only chicken, but also from any other poultry. The offered dish is not only tasty and healthy, but also has a low calorie content. Step-by-step cooking of chicken giblets with zucchini, recipe with photo:
1. Wash chicken stomachs under running water. Usually they are sold already clean, but if there is a lot of fat on them, then cut it off. Place them in a cooking pot, cover with water and cook until tender, about 1 hour. Season with salt and black pepper 10 minutes before the end of cooking.
2. Drain the water through a fine sieve and leave the stomachs to drain excess moisture. Then cut them into thin strips or cubes.
3. Wash the liver, dry with a paper towel and cut into slices. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the liver. Fry it over medium heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally. The average frying time is usually no more than 15 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces.
4. Wash and dry the zucchini. Cut into cubes and fry in a skillet in vegetable oil until golden brown.
5. Combine fried zucchini with liver and boiled stomachs in one pan.
6. Season the dish with salt, ground pepper, any herbs, spices. It is allowed to add spices, herbs or garlic, focusing on your taste preferences. Pour in some water, boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat. Ready-made chicken offal with zucchini is usually served hot, but even after cooling down, the dish will be no less tasty. Before serving, decorate the dish with herbs, then the serving will be at its best.
