- Rice - 150 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Vegetable oil - for lubricating the baking dish
- Salt - a pinch
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Apples - 2 pcs.
Step by step preparation of rice casserole with apples, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the rice well under several waters and boil it almost until tender. To do this, fill it with water in a 1: 2 ratio, season with salt and cook for 10 minutes so that the rice completely absorbs all the water. Then transfer the rice to a sieve and rinse. Add honey and chicken yolks.
2. Stir the food until it is well distributed throughout the mass. If honey is allergic, use sugar.
3. Wash and dry the apples. Remove the replacement box, cut into medium cubes or coarsely grate. You can peel or leave the peel, it's a matter of taste. Add apples to rice mixture and stir.
4. Beat the whites with a mixer until a white airy mass and stable peaks.
5. Add the beaten egg whites to the rice mixture.
6. Gently stir the food so that the proteins do not fall off and put the mixture in a baking dish, which brush with a thin layer of vegetable or butter.
7. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the rice casserole with apples to bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If the finished dish is eaten immediately after cooking, then the casserole will be tender and airy. After cooling, it will become denser and harder.
