The recipe is quite simple, while the pancakes are extremely tasty. Pancakes with a poppy-honey mixture inside are a real tasty dish and a real dessert. Therefore, they will perfectly brighten up a festive tea party, and not only on Maslenitsa, but on any other day. The dish will be a wonderful dessert for breakfast or a snack on the family table. - Milk - 500 ml
- Honey - 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Flour - 250 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Salt - a pinch
- Poppy - 2 tablespoons
Step by step preparation of honey pancakes with poppy seeds, recipe with photo:
1. In a deep bowl, pour milk at room temperature, vegetable oil (you can melt butter), add eggs, a pinch of salt and honey. If the honey is very dense, then melt it in a water bath beforehand, but do not bring it to a boil.
2. Whisk the liquid ingredients until smooth and smooth.
3. Add flour to the dough, sift through a fine sieve to enrich it with oxygen, and the pancakes become softer and softer.
4. Use a whisk or blender to knead the dough until smooth, breaking any lumps.
5. Steam the poppy seeds with boiling water, close the lid and stand for 5-7 minutes. Drain the water and fill it with boiling water again for 5-7 minutes. Repeat this procedure only 3-4 times.
6. Add sugar to the poppy seeds.
