- Cabbage - 400 g
- Fresh tomatoes - 300 g
- Sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Meatballs - 250 g

The first step is to prepare the cabbage. Winter varieties are best suited for extinguishing - they are distinguished by a lighter color of the sheets. Cut the cabbage in half. Chop the cabbage thinly. In a saucepan or deep skillet, heat 20 ml of vegetable oil and put the cabbage in it. Pass it until transparent.
In the meantime, peel carrots and bell peppers. Cut vegetables into strips. Carrots can be grated on a coarse grater.
When the cabbage changes color and significantly decreases in volume, you can put bell peppers and carrots on it.
In summer, it is best to take fresh tomatoes for cooking. We wash them and grind them in any way convenient for you. For example, a blender. In winter, use canned tomato juice or tomato paste.
A separate ingredient worth paying special attention to is the meatballs. It is not difficult to make them. Take 200 g minced meat, 2 tbsp. l. semolina and 1 onion. Spices to taste. Mix everything and roll the balls. These meatballs are convenient to freeze and use at any time. Fry the meatballs, either fresh or frozen, in a separate pan until crusty.
Add meatballs to the cabbage.
And tomato juice. Mix and add spices - salt, black pepper, laurel.
Simmer the cabbage, covered, for 20 minutes over low heat. Finally, add the finely chopped greens.
