- Coniferous plywood it is mainly used when it is required to combine good strength and low weight of the material in one solution. For the production of this type, pine wood is usually used, the properties of which make it possible to provide excellent strength indicators, without worrying about too much weight of the material. Coniferous plywood is in great demand in wooden housing construction. In addition, being naturally impregnated with pine oils, this plywood is highly resistant to rotting and fungal infection. This is also facilitated by gluing based on formaldehyde adhesives. Possessing all the beauty of pine wood, coniferous varieties have found their use in the manufacture of furniture and interior decoration. It is also often used in roofing works, entrusting it with the entire service life of a soft roof. It should be noted that during operation, coniferous plywood changes its original dimensions. In terms of thickness, shrinkage is 0.03%, and in length and width - 0.02%.

The manufacturing process of these grades consists in covering it on both sides with a paper-resin film based on phenol-formaldehyde resin.
