To prepare this salad, it is very important to buy quality smoked chicken meat. Ingredients:
- Smoked chicken leg - 1 pc.
- Canned green peas - 200 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Carrots - 1 pc. (big size)
- Pickled cucumber - 2 pcs.
- Green onions - bunch
- Mayonnaise - for dressing
- Salt - pinch or to taste
Making smoked chicken salad
1. First rinse the smoked ham under running water. Perhaps many do not, but the product is often sold without sealed packaging, so it may be in non-sterile boxes and pallets.
Then dry the chicken with a paper towel, remove the skin, remove the meat from the bone and cut into pieces or tear along the fibers.
2. Boil eggs until hard, peel and cut into cubes with sides no more than 8 mm.
3. Boil the carrots until soft, cool completely, peel and cut into cubes. To make the cooking process faster, you can prepare the carrots in advance, for example, in the evening. It will cool down well overnight, and in the morning prepare a fresh salad.
4. Remove the pickles from the jar, blot with a paper towel to remove all the pickle, cut into cubes and add to all foods.
5. Transfer the green peas to a sieve to glass all the liquid, then add to the salad bowl.
6. Wash green onions, chop finely and add to salad. By the way, it can be used frozen, it will not affect the taste of the finished dish in any way.
7. Add mayonnaise to food.
