Making cottage cheese cake with shortbread
1. Remove the butter from the refrigerator beforehand so that it reaches room temperature. Cut it into pieces and place in a deep mixing bowl.
2. Add the yolks to the butter and pour the whites into a clean, dry container. They will be needed to prepare the curd filling.
3. Mix the yolks with the oil with a mixer to get a homogeneous smooth mass.
4. Pour flour into the bowl and stir the food with a mixer or with your hands.
5. You should have a crumb dough, i.e. loose.
6. Find a convenient baking dish and place half of the flour crumbs in it. There is no need to lubricate the form, because there is oil in the dough, so the cake will not stick to the bottom and walls.
7. Grind the curd through a fine sieve or beat with a blender to get an even mass without lumps. Add sour cream with sugar to it and stir until smooth and smooth. At this stage, if you wish, you can add any flavoring additives.
8. Whisk the whites into a tight, stable white foam and add them to the container with the curd filling.
9. Gently stir the curd to keep the whites tender and fluffy. Make sure they don't settle.
10. Place the curd filling in a baking dish.
11. Top with the remaining flour crumbs.
12. Send the product to bake in a heated oven up to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
13. Cut the finished pie into portions and serve. It can be consumed both warm and cold.
