It may seem to many at first glance that there are no subtleties in the preparation of this drink - milk and ice cream are whipped and everything is ready. But this is not at all the case.
Basic rules for making a vanilla sugar milkshake
- Milk should be at a temperature of +5 degrees. Milk that is too cold does not taste good, making a shake made with supercooled milk less delicious.
- The main ingredients of a classic milkshake are milk and ice cream. Milk should be fat, and ice cream should be a classic ice cream. Additives and fillers will spoil the taste of the drink, namely the ice cream will give the cocktail a soft, delicate and thick consistency at the same time.
- If you want to give the cocktail an interesting taste, you can add various syrups, grated chocolate, jam, fruits chopped with a blender to a puree-like consistency, fruit juices, instant cocoa and coffee, alcoholic beverages.
- When adding jam or syrup, milk and syrup are whipped first, and then ice cream is added. For 150 ml of milk - 5 ml of syrup.
- The last and most important secret of a delicious milkshake is that it should be consumed immediately after preparation, and it is not recommended to store it, even in the refrigerator. Fruit acids cause milk clotting and oxidation, which spoils the taste of the cocktail.

Making a vanilla sugar milkshake
1. Remove the ice cream from the package.
I use ice cream sundae in chocolate. Therefore, I do not add any additional additives to the cocktail. Chocolate from ice cream and serves me as an additive. If you want to get the classic taste of the drink, then use a regular ice cream without chocolate.
2. Pour milk into a blender bowl and dip ice cream into it. Cool milk well before preparing the drink to a temperature of no more than + 5 ° C.
3. Place the blender bowl on the appliance.
4. Whisk the cocktail at the highest speed for about 50-60 seconds until a thick foam forms. Then pour it into glasses and immediately start tasting.
