Fabric food is practical and durable. It can be turned into attributes of a toy cafe, shop, soft pillow and even a blanket.
How to make chicken legs with your own hands?
Not everyone can eat this kind of food, but many will like the comfortable toys and pillows. You can make an original New Year's gift by bringing a chicken leg made of fabric.
If you want to impress the owners, then sew this attribute large. If you need a pillow made of fabric, then the leg can be 60 cm high. An attribute 15–20 cm high is suitable for a children's cafe.
Such fabric food will turn out if you take:
- light brown fabric, pleasant to the touch;
- white canvas;
- filler;
- scissors;
- threads.
- Print the presented model or bring a checkered piece of paper to the monitor screen, redraw the leg. It will be easy to transfer its outline to a larger sheet of paper in the cells.

How to sew vegetables and fruits from felt, velor?

For fabric vegetables to be pleasant to the touch, shape them from velvety fabric, using, for example, lilac velor. The eggplant itself consists of two halves, at the top of each you need to lay in a fold so that the vegetable turns out to be voluminous.
Through it up, you need to fill the eggplant with filler, cover with a green cap. Such leaves are sewn from a fabric of the corresponding color, straightened around the edges, and stuffed with filler.
But you will make a pear from 4 wedges.
Connect them together by sewing on the sides and bottom. Pack tightly with filler. Separately sew a part of the branch out of brown fabric, also give it a shape with a padding polyester or holofiber, stitching a couple of leaves onto it. Sew this blank onto the top of the pear.

- spacious rectangular box;

- fleece;
- glue gun;
- scissors;
- compass;
- pencil;
- cardboard.
For such an educational game, a large shoe box is perfect, for example, from under high boots.
- Cover the bottom with brown fleece. Put the lid of the box on the green felt and outline. Rugged the edges of the fabric to make them look like grass. Cut out this canvas, glue it to the top of the box. You can additionally strengthen it by sewing on the sides on the hands with a thread and a needle.
- Using a compass, draw holes of different diameters on the lid, cut them out with scissors.
- Cut the brown leftovers into rectangular pieces, glue them in the form of a garden path.
- Cut a fence out of lighter felt. To make it more stable, glue two layers of material.
- You can decorate a three-dimensional picture with artificial flowers, also made of dense matter.

Felt carrots
To do it, you will need:
- orange and green dense fabric;
- filler;
- needle and thread.
Cut a triangle out of the orange fabric, the small side of which is slightly curved. Fold over the large sides, sew them on the wrong side. Turn the workpiece right out and fill it with filler. Sew up the top, insert three green elements here that act as tops.

How to make strawberries?
An illustrative process is shown in the following master class
- Draw a circle on the cardboard with your compass. The second one should be smaller, it is needed in order to draw a kind of rays around.
- Transfer this resulting shape to the green felt, outline, cut out. You now have strawberry greens.
- A larger circle will help to make it itself. From it you need to cut off a half, put it on a dense red cloth, outline and also cut out.

DIY felt products

- In the top photo, you see bread, dumplings and green peas. Dumplings are easily made from scraps of white cloth. Scissors with zigzag edges are used to cut them. You can fill these blanks with filler, and if it is not there, then with ordinary cotton wool.
- You will make a loaf of fabric if you take a light brown and white linen. On a darker one, you need to make three semicircular cutouts, and sew the base of the bread from the white one. Top stitch the cut out canvas of light brown color.
- Each pea pod is created from two identical semicircular parts, between which there is a layer of filler.
- A head of cheese is formed from 4 elements. The top and bottom are identical. They are connected using a strip of fabric. If you want to show that a piece of cheese has been cut, then you need to sew a darker strip inside this head.
- You will also create round and rectangular cookies from felt, for such products you don't even need a filler. Cut out two paired pieces, sew their edges on the arms, sew a few stitches in the center.
- The cheese in the bottom photo can be made from foam rubber. To make a fermented milk product with a noble mold, sew with blue and green threads.
Even felt food that is not bulky also looks great. Beets are made without the use of fillers. For fish, you will need very little of it. To make scrambled eggs from fabric, you need to cut out a blank from white felt and a circle from yellow. Put a little filler under the yolk, attach this yellow circle to the center of the white blank.
The dumplings are made from yellow or white fabric that needs to be cut with a crescent moon. The workpieces are sewn in pairs, stuffed with cotton wool. The ends of each need to be connected and sewn.
Fabric tea bags will turn out to be especially beautiful if you glue or sew an applique in the form of berries, leaves on a bag made of white linen. You can also make whole dishes from felt.
- The centerpiece of the next is the salmon steak. To create it, you need to cut out two identical pieces of pink felt. This will be the top and bottom of the piece of red fish. They need to be connected with a sidewall. To do this, cut a strip of the desired length 3-4 cm high from gray felt. The edges of the blanks are processed with zigzag scissors.
- Sew all the details, leaving a small gap free. It is needed in order to fill this item with filler. With a dark marker, draw semicircular lines to make the chum fish look as if it were a real steak on a plate.
- You will also need to make the cut look more realistic. To do this, use a ballpoint pen or fine marker. Such circles will be clearly visible on a white background, because it is from such felt that you will make a bow.
- Making food out of felt is very exciting. You can see this with your children. Invite them to roll a strip of green cloth into a tight roll, you get green beans.
- Cut a leaf of lettuce from felt of the appropriate color. Put this blank on a plate, also place a circle of cloth potatoes here. Garnish the fish with a lemon slice made from the same material.

To create a fabric cake take:
- felt of the right colors for the base and for the fruit;
- filler;
- scissors;
- wavy braid;
- needle and thread.
For the cake, you will need 3 parts: the first is made in the form of a rectangle measuring 16 by 5 cm. The other two represent the top and bottom of the product. These are two circles with a diameter of 5 cm.
For fruits, you need three semicircles with a diameter of 2.5 cm; 5 cm; 7 cm. You will need one more shape in the form of a small green star. Stitch the rectangular piece to the round piece. Sew up the sidewall. Fill the resulting barrel with padding polyester, sew the bottom on your hands.
You can decorate the cake however you like. A zigzag braid in a contrasting color will look good. We sew it with a seam forward with a needle.
The base is ready, it remains to decorate it with berries and fruits. Let's start with strawberries. To highlight the small seeds on it, embroider the red semicircle with yellow or other thread. Join the sides, stitch this seam.
Pull the bottom of the strawberry onto a thread, put the filler here, sew on the piece in the form of a green star.
Put a small light green on the green semicircle, sew them together. Without removing this thread, make it a kind of rays. Embroider the kiwi seeds with black thread. Fold this slice in half, using green thread to join the edges together.
Here's how to make cake cream. Cut out a circle with a diameter of 5 cm out of white felt, cut the petals along the edge. Then collect them on a light one as it was done in the photo. Tighten the thread, cut.
It remains to collect the cake. To do this, sew a slice of kiwi with a green thread, connect the strawberries in the same way. Sew on the cream with a white thread, the middle of which needs to be decorated with an imitation pearl. The same elements are used to decorate the edges of the cake.
Fabric food will be even more varied if you make cookies. Create with your children, they will certainly enjoy creating such things.
Use brown felt and fleece trims for these beautiful pastries. Cut out hearts, stars, circles from the fabric. Fold in two paired pieces.
You can make cookies in the shape of Christmas trees, then fabric food will decorate the New Year's doll table. It will also turn out to be interesting if you make such inedible pastries in the form of various animals, heroes of animated films.
Place the brown material on a pink or other light-colored canvas that will become the frosting. But it should be slightly less than the base. To do this, make this part 2 mm smaller than it.
Place the frosting on a brown felt blank. Sew these parts together.

- Sew the two donut pieces together, but not yet completely. Then sew on this edge.
How to make a fabric cake?
If you still have a free box, you can turn it into an adorable cake decorated with snow-white marshmallows.
You can put all sorts of little things inside, for example, hair ties, hairpins. If you want to put needles here, then put foam rubber on the bottom.
So take:
- an empty box;
- soft fabric of the desired color;
- braid or thin lace;
- white fleece;
- filler.
To create a cake, follow the step-by-step master class:
- Measure the volume of the box, its top and bottom. For the lower and upper parts, you need to cut out a mug, and a rectangle from the same canvas will become the sidewall.
- A narrow tape of the same fabric must be cut out for the side of the lid, and sewn to it from the side. Sew on white lace for a beautiful and airy piece.
- Marshmallows will also contribute to this. To make it, cut round blanks from white fabric, cut each into 8 petals. While laying them in one direction, tighten with thread. Sew the marshmallows to the top of the box in a circle.
