It can also attack flower plants: daffodil, zephyranthes, nerine, krinum, lilies and others.
How does a red burn appear?
It is not difficult to understand that your favorite plant was struck by stagonosporosis, as evidenced by bright red spots that can appear on bulbs, roots, flowers, leaves. If the infection is strong, then the peduncles droop, and the leaves are deformed. When the spores of the fungus mature, they are easily carried by the wind to healthy plants. The worst thing a red burn can translate to is rotting of the bulb, as a result of which the plant dies. If you notice the disease at an early stage, then such specimens can still be saved.
When buying a bulb, be sure to carefully consider it, if you notice even a few oblong red spots, do not purchase it. Prevention of a red burn
