Chicken is always a tasty and aromatic dish, the taste of which can be constantly enriched by using various marinades and adding all kinds of spices and spices. Chicken legs are the part of poultry that is most popular with chicken aficionados. And sometimes it seems that cooking chicken hams is a very simple task that any culinary specialist can handle. However, the dish often comes out not appetizing in appearance, remains tough on the inside or completely "creeps".
This recipe will help you out more than once. Familiar chicken hams can be turned into an exquisite meat dish that can even be served to guests at the festive table. This can be done in several ways: fry in a pan, simmer in pots, cook in a slow cooker, but the most correct way is to bake in the oven. Then they will be delicious on the outside and very juicy on the inside. It is this recipe that I will share with you.
It is important to observe the following rules here. You need to buy chilled hams, not frozen. For the meat to have a crispy crust, all excess moisture should be removed with a paper towel. And an important rule - during baking, never overexpose the meat in the oven, otherwise all the juice will evaporate, the chicken will dry out and be dry.

Ingredients:
- Chicken legs - 2 pcs.
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Measured ground pepper - 0.5 tsp or to taste
Cooking oven baked chicken legs
1. Wash the chicken legs well under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. Use a sharp knife to make deep cuts in it, into which you put the peeled and chopped garlic cloves. It will also help the meat fibers to soak better in the marinade inside.
2. In any deep container, combine the following spices: mayonnaise, mustard, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Be careful with the addition of salt, as the soy sauce itself is quite salty.
3. Stir the marinade well until smooth.
4. Select a suitable baking sheet and line it with baking parchment to prevent the meat from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Spread the marinade well on all sides and place on a baking sheet. Leave them to sit for 30-40 minutes to marinate a little. If you decide to marinate the meat for a longer time, then put it in the refrigerator so that the hams do not disappear.
5. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and send the meat to bake for 30 minutes. Then set the "grill" mode or simply increase the heating temperature to 220 degrees and bake the hams for another 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve the finished dish immediately after cooking. Also, if desired, the meat can be baked with potatoes at the same time, then you will immediately have a ready-made side dish, which will shorten the time for preparing dinner. In this case, the tubers are peeled, washed, cut into 4 pieces and laid out around the hams.
