Today we will make puffs from frozen ready-made purchased dough, and take cherries as a filler. Crispy and ruddy pastries with heat, with heat with sour filling for tea. This is delicious! Such puffs can be prepared very quickly, no longer than one hour. They are perfect as a tea treat for guests and household members.
For the filling, not only cherries are suitable, but also cherries or spanks. The main thing is to remove the seeds from the fruit. You can also use other seasonal fruits and berries to taste: plums, apricots, apples, pears, peaches, cottage cheese, strawberries, etc. Products can be fresh, frozen or canned.

Ingredients:
- Purchased puff pastry - 300 g
- Flour - 2 tablespoons for sprinkling
- Sugar - 50 g or to taste
- Milk or butter - to lubricate the puffs
- Cherry - 250-300 g pitted
Step-by-step preparation of puffs from ready-made purchased dough with cherries, recipe with photo:
1. The recipe uses puff pastry, but you can use puff pastry or yeast-free dough. From puff pastry with yeast, baking will turn out to be more airy and light, but after cooling, the products will settle and slightly lose their original appearance. Yeast-free dough is more "pliable" and products made from it are more presentable.
Remove the selected dough from the freezer and leave to thaw. At room temperature, this process will take about 40-45 minutes. Then dust the work surface with a rolling pin with flour and roll out the dough into a thin rectangular layer about 3 mm thick. Roll the dough in one direction so as not to break the layers.
2. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into about 10 cm squares on all sides.
3. Wash the cherries, dry them, remove the seeds and put them on the dough. If using frozen berries, defrost them.
4. Sprinkle the berries with sugar or powdered sugar. Also add a little flour, it will absorb the juice released from the berries.
5. Lift the four edges of the dough, gather them in the middle and join them together to form an envelope.
6. Hold all the edges of the dough together well.
7. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with parchment for baking and lay out the puffs from the ready-made purchased dough with cherries. Brush the puffs with milk or butter so that the pies become golden brown after cooking. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the products to bake for half an hour. Cool the finished baked goods and serve for tea.
