It can be compared to navy-style sandwiches and pasta … The design of the dishes, of course, is different, but the speed and simplicity of preparation are similar, where minced meat and bakery products are used. From this dough, you can bake any pastry, salty or sweet. Today I propose to surprise and deliciously feed the household with a universal dish - puffs of purchased dough with minced meat. It turns out tasty and relatively fast. They can be a snack, main course, and snack. They can be served for a festive feast, taken with you to a picnic, to work, or given to a child to school. Two or three puffs and a full meal! Their taste is very delicate, the meat is juicy and aromatic, and the pastries look impeccable.
Baking is very simple to prepare. While the baking dough is thawing, you can prepare the filling. Another good thing is that you can constantly experiment with the baking form, making out puff pies of different sizes at your discretion. You can use puffs in any form: hot and chilled. But in hot puffs, the filling is juicy and aromatic, and the dough is light and crispy. Cold cakes are not so juicy as the juice is absorbed into the dough. Although the cold ones are also delicious.

Ingredients:
- Purchased puff frozen dough - 300 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Milk, butter or eggs - to grease the puffs
- Meat (any sort) - 300 g
- Italian herbs - 1 tsp
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or according to taste
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Flour - for sprinkling the dough when rolling
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
Step-by-step preparation of puffs from purchased dough with minced meat, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel and twist it through a meat grinder.
2. Peel the onions and also pass through the meat grinder auger. Peel and squeeze the garlic through a press. Season the minced meat with salt and black pepper. Add any spices you like.
3. Stir the minced meat.
4. Place the frying pan on the stove, add vegetable oil and heat. Add the minced meat and fry it over high heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Add the ketchup to the skillet and stir.
6. Simmer the meat filling under the lid for 2-3 minutes.
7. Defrost the dough naturally at room temperature without using a microwave. Sprinkle flour on a work surface with a rolling pin and roll out the dough into a thin rectangular layer about 5 mm thick. Cut it into equal pieces about 10x15 cm in size.
8. Place the stewed minced meat over half the dough.
9. Make small cuts in the free half of the dough with a knife.
10. Cover the filling with the free edge of the dough.
11. Tie the edges of the dough together to prevent the meat juice from leaking out during baking. Use a fork to circle the dough, leaving the prongs to make the baked goods look nicer.
12. Place the purchased minced meat puffs on the baking sheet. Brush them with butter or egg yolk for a beautiful golden brown color.
