In literally an hour, the dough will have time to defrost, and in another half an hour a delicious dessert will flaunt on the table. For the filling, I used plums, because to my taste, such a roll is very similar to a plum strudel. Ingredients:
- Frozen dough - 300-350 g
- Plums - 300 g
- Butter - for frying
- Sugar - 30 g
Cooking a roll with plums:
1. Take the dough out of the freezer and thaw it at room temperature, while making the filling. Wash the plums, pat dry with a paper towel and cut in half. Remove the pit and halve the berries again.
2. Place a slice of butter in the pan.
3. Heat over medium heat until the oil is completely melted.
4. Place the plums in a skillet and cook them over medium heat. Add sugar to them and cook, stirring occasionally. The berries should acquire a soft consistency, but not lose their shape. That is, you should not get a shapeless puree.
5. When the dough is thawed, roll it out into a thin rectangular layer.
6. Place the fried-stewed plums on the dough and spread them evenly over the entire surface. Also pour out the juice that came out during frying.
7. Roll the dough into a roll, tightly fastening the edges on all sides so that the filling does not leak out. If desired, brush the top of the roll with an egg or melted butter to brown.
8. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the roll to bake for half an hour on the lower level of the frypot.
9. Cool the finished dessert to room temperature, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into portions and serve to the dessert table, beautifully laid out on a dish.
