Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese - 200 g
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Butter - 100 g for dough and 30 g for frying
- Plums - 500 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp without top
- Sugar - 100 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Flour - 250 g
Step-by-step preparation of curd roll with plums, recipe with photo:
1. In a bowl, combine flour, cottage cheese, citric acid and baking soda. Pre-sift the flour through a fine sieve, and mash large lumps of cottage cheese with a fork.
2. Add butter, cut into pieces or grated on a coarse grater, to the food and beat in the egg.
3. Knead an elastic and resilient dough. Add a little flour if necessary. Shape the dough into a round ball, wrap with cling film and refrigerate for half an hour.
4. Wash the plums, dry with a paper towel, remove the pit and cut the berries into 4-6 pieces.
5. Melt the butter in a skillet.
6. Send plums into it and sprinkle with sugar.
7. Caramelize the berries over medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes.
8. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll out into a rectangular shape. To make it more convenient to roll it up later and transfer it to a baking sheet, do it on parchment paper.
9. Spread the stewed plums on the dough in an even layer, leaving 2 cm of empty space on all edges.
10. Roll the dough into a roll and secure all edges. Put the roll on a baking sheet with the seam down and send to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees.
