1. Choose good quality pears and apples, no rot, no broken or spoiled. Wash the selected fruits and dry with a paper towel. Cut them into pieces and place them in a heavy-bottomed cooking pot.
2. Add drinking water to the pot. Optionally, you can flavor the puree by adding cinnamon powder, ground cardamom grains, cloves, anise.
3. Put fruit on fire and boil. Bring the temperature to the lowest setting and simmer the fruit for 1 hour. Since the preparation is cooked without sugar, the fruit must be deeply cooked.
4. Remove the saucepan from the stove and use a blender to chop the fruit to a smooth puree consistency. Kill the boiled apples and pears well so that there are no pieces.
5. Add citric acid to the puree, stir and simmer over low heat after boiling again for 5-7 minutes.
6. By this time, sterilize the jars with lids. Divide the hot puree into clean jars. Cover them with lids and place them in a saucepan in warm water. Sterilize the jars after boiling for 15 minutes. Then close them with the lids. Turn the cans over and place them on the lid. Wrap the sugar-free apple and pear puree for the winter in a warm blanket and leave to cool completely. Store it in a pantry at room temperature.
