Peanut butter is a homemade version of peanut butter brought to us from the United States, so it is quite expensive in our country. To get that taste and consistency at home, as in industrial technology, of course, will not work, but it will still come out very tasty. It should also be borne in mind that peanut butter is a highly nutritious and very high-calorie product. Therefore, it is not recommended to abuse it. And in the United States and some English-speaking countries, the mass is a worthy alternative to natural meat for a vegetarian lifestyle. It is consumed on its own, with bread, crackers, added to all kinds of dishes, like baked goods, soup, cream, etc.

It should be noted the benefits of peanut butter. Peanut kernels contain folic acid, fiber, macro- and microelements, vegetable protein, vitamins PP, A, B1, B2, E, and most importantly, it is completely devoid of cholesterol. In terms of nutritional value, peanuts are not inferior to other legumes, like beans and peas.   • Honey - 2-4 tablespoons or to taste
  • Refined vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons

1. Peanuts can be used peeled and roasted or raw and not peeled. From this there will be a different taste and calorie content of the finished product. Personally, I prefer a paste made from peeled and roasted peanuts. By the way, you can buy a raw product and fry it yourself until the husk begins to separate from the kernels. So, peel the fried peanuts.

2. Dip the kernels into the chopper.

3. Beat the nuts until smooth. The longer you grind them, the more homogeneous the mass will turn out, besides, the amount of your own oil allocated will depend on the duration of grinding. If you do not have such a device as a chopper, then the peanuts can be twisted in a meat grinder through a fine wire rack or use a blender.

4. Pour honey and vegetable oil into the peanut mass. The oil must be odorless. Instead of vegetable oil, peanut oil is suitable. If honey cannot be eaten for some reason, replace it with brown sugar. You can also make salty pasta by adding it to your first and second courses.

5. Beat the food again so that the honey and butter are evenly distributed, and the mass becomes smooth and homogeneous. If the consistency of the mixture seems dense to you, then you can pour in a little more oil or boiled chilled drinking water and mix the ingredients again. The amount of liquid depends on the desired thickness of the paste.

6. Place the finished product in jars, close the lids and store in the refrigerator or at room temperature. By the same principle, you can prepare nut butter from any type of nut.
