Cooking beets in French:
1. Wash and peel the beets. Then rinse and dry again with a paper towel. Cut the root vegetable into thin slices, about 3 mm each. This can be done with a sharp knife or with a special shredder so that each slice is the same thickness. So that the circles are not large and look beautiful in a dish, I recommend taking a small size. Peel the garlic, rinse and cut into strips.
2. Pour olive oil and garlic into a frying pan.
3. Turn on medium heat and fry the garlic until golden brown. Watch it carefully so that it does not burn, otherwise the dish will have an unpleasant smell. The garlic will be fried for no more than 2-3 minutes. Then remove it from the pan as it was necessary that he only give his taste and aroma to the oil.
4. Place the chopped beets in a hot skillet. Pour in wine and season with salt.
5. Stir, bring to a boil, reduce the temperature, cover the pan and simmer for about 20 minutes until the beets are tender. At the same time, it should not sour, but remain with a slight crunch. If you wish, you can make the dish thicker. To do this, add 1 tablespoon to the pan. flour, which pre-fry in oil, and then add beets with wine and continue to cook the dish according to the recipe.
6. While the beets are cooking, cut the cheese into long slices. This can be done using a special peeler.
7. Mix the cheese and spread the cooked beets on a serving platter. The dish is usually consumed warm, however, and cold, the treat turns out to be very tasty.
