Sand baskets filled with fruits - a dessert from childhood. How to make this delicacy, read this step-by-step recipe with a photo. Video recipe.
As a child, one of my favorite pastries was sand fruit baskets. Today it is fashionable to call them sweet fruit tartlets. An amazing combination of shortcrust pastry with a fresh taste of persimmon and tangerine slices, supplemented with bird's milk and sprinkled with gronola - this is an amazingly delicious dessert.
In this recipe, ready-made tartlets are used. How to bake them, you can find a step-by-step recipe with a photo on the pages of the site. But if you don't want to mess around with pastries, then you can buy them ready-made in the supermarket.
Any seasonal fruit that you find on the market or you like the most can be used as a fruit filling. If desired, they can be supplemented with cottage cheese or custard, or a scoop of ice cream. Absolutely everyone will like such a bright and tasty dessert, especially children will be delighted. It is worth noting that the baskets can be used not only for a sweet dessert, but also for salty snacks, which are filled with sausage, olives, salted cheese, etc.

Ingredients:
- Sand baskets - 6 pcs.
- Persimmon - 1 pc.
- Mandarin - 1 pc.
- Granola - 1 tablespoon
- Bird's milk sweets - 3 pcs.
Step by step preparation of sand fruit baskets, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the persimmon and dry it with a paper towel. Remove the stem and cut the fruit into cubes no larger than 1 cm.
2. Divide the sliced persimmons into the baskets, filling them in half and sprinkle with a little granola. Granola is an oven-dried oatmeal with nuts, dried fruit and honey.
3. Cut the bird's milk candies into the same size as the persimmon, 1 cm each. If they are in chocolate glaze, then remove it. It's to your taste though.
4. Send the bird's milk to the baskets on top of the persimmons.
5. Peel the tangerines and disassemble them into slices, from which remove the white skin. Cut the wedges in half lengthwise into two pieces. If they are small, then leave them intact.
6. Decorate the dessert with tangerine wedges and serve sand fruit baskets to the table. It is advisable to consume them as soon as possible after preparation. Because the fruit can become chapped and look unpresentable.
