Step by step cooking potato porridge with pork, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat and dry it with a paper towel. Cut off the veined films and remove excess grease. Cut the meat into small pieces. Since during the stewing process, it must break down into fibers and mix with the potatoes. Large chunks will take longer to stew, without having time to cook to the desired consistency, when the potatoes are ready.
2. Peel the onions, wash and chop into thin half rings.
3. Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into medium pieces. If you want the porridge to cook faster, then cut the food into smaller pieces, so they will quickly stew.
4. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the oil and add the meat. Saute it over a little over medium heat until golden brown.
5. Add onions and continue to fry foods over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
6. Put potatoes in a saucepan, season with salt, black pepper, bay leaves and allspice peas.
7. Fill the food with water so that it only covers them and boil. Bring the heat to the lowest setting and simmer the pork and potato porridge with the lid closed for 1 hour. During this time, the meat should disintegrate into fibers, and the potatoes should turn into a homogeneous puree.
