Making halva from peanuts
1. Pour the peanuts into a clean and dry skillet and lightly roast over medium heat. If the kernels are raw at all, then fry them completely. When the husk is detached from the nuts, it means that they are already sufficiently fried.
2. Pour flour into another dry skillet and place on the stove.
3. Turn on medium heat and stirring occasionally, fry until light golden brown.
4. Peel the fried peanuts. Although this is a matter of taste, some people prepare halva from nuts in their husks. Put them in a food chopper or food processor.
5. Beat the kernels to the state of small crumbs.
6. Pour the roasted flour to the ground peanuts and beat the food so that they are evenly distributed throughout the mass.
7. Prepare the syrup. Pour drinking water and sugar into a saucepan. Place on the stove and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer until light caramel color.
8. Pour vegetable oil into the syrup and boil. Pour the liquid component into the chopper to the food.
9. Interrupt the ingredients to make a homogeneous mass. It shouldn't be too liquid, but it shouldn't be crumbling either.
10. Choose the form in which you will cook halva. If the form is glass or ceramic, then cover it with cling film to make it easier to extract the finished dessert from them. If the mold is silicone, then do not cover it with anything. Tamp the peanut mass into the selected form and send it to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
11. When halva becomes dense, remove it from the mold, cut into slices and serve with a cup of coffee or tea.
