Step-by-step cooking of steam cottage cheese with poppy seeds, recipe with photo:
1. Place the curd in a deep bowl. To make the curds tasty, the curd must be dry, crumbly and low in fat. If you wish, you can rub it through a sieve, then the curds will turn out to be more magnificent. A meat grinder will not work, because she compresses the curd lumps.
2. Add flour (sifted through a fine sieve), sugar and a pinch of salt to the curd.
3. Beat the egg into the food.
4. Soak poppy seeds in warm water for 1-2 hours. It is better to do this in advance.
5. Strain the poppy seeds through a fine sieve to make the glass water and send it to all products.
6. Stir the food until it is evenly distributed and a smooth, homogeneous mass is obtained.
7. Form the pancakes into a round shape and press them down a little to make flat cakes. Place them in a colander, which is placed in a pot of boiling water. Make sure that boiling water does not get into the sieve with curds. Place the lid on the colander and cook the steamed poppy seed curds for 5-10 minutes, depending on their size.
