Lasagna is a traditional Italian dish. But thanks to its unsurpassed and refined taste, the dish has spread far beyond the borders of the homeland and quickly found its fans on the territory of our state. Today, meat lasagne can be seen on the menu in any restaurant in the world. In Italy, this dish is made from special dough plates. But in our country they are successfully replaced with pasta, thin pita bread, and, of course, pancakes. The taste of the dish changes a little, but believe me, the dish remains as tasty and unsurpassed.
I have already told you how to cook lasagna with real sheets, with pasta and pita bread. You can find these recipes on the site pages. And today I will share a recipe for lasagna prepared on the basis of pancakes. This dish can become a great decoration for a festive feast, especially during Maslenitsa days. Pancake lasagna, of course, will also take some time, because pancakes still need to be baked. But on the other hand, the process of making them is more familiar and skillful for us than preparing real sheets for lasagna.
This type of lasagna is prepared according to the same principle as the usual one. But ready-made pancakes do not require a lot of sauce to soak. They have their own moisture, which makes the dish juicy. It turns out pancake lasagna tender and simply melting in the mouth. This is a rather unusual option for a hearty meal for the whole family.
