No meal is complete without snacks. If you do not want to come up with something new and original, turn your gaze to the good and proven old - stuffed eggs. Such a simple appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. The filling options are very diverse. For our recipe, we'll use mushrooms and onions. You can take any mushrooms - with forest mushrooms, the appetizer will be much more aromatic and tasty. Using pickled or salted mushrooms will shorten the cooking time.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 10 pcs.
  • Fresh mushrooms (champignons) - 200 g
  • Mayonnaise - 100 g
  • Onion - 40 g (1 onion)
  • Greens - optional
  • Any seasonings

Step by step cooking of mushroom stuffed eggs

1. Let's start cooking by peeling mushrooms. Wipe them with a dry sponge or tissue and cut off the edge of the leg. That's it, the mushrooms are ready for slicing. Cut them into small cubes. If you plan to make a pasty filling, chop the mushrooms coarsely, just like the onions.

Chop the onion for the filling as finely as possible. To prevent the onion from falling apart when cutting, press it with the flat side of the knife against the board (half of the onion) and then cut into cubes.

2. Fry the onion until transparent, and then add the mushrooms to it. Fry together for 10-15 minutes. The mushrooms should be fried, and all the moisture should be evaporated.

3. Eggs are set and boiled. After boiling, cook them for 10 minutes. Then we put it in cold water with ice. After chilling, the eggs will peel easily and the yolk will not turn gray-green. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and take out the yolk.
