Perhaps for this very reason, it is steroids that continue to be the most effective means of enhancing athletic performance. Today we will talk about the relationship between anabolic steroids and endurance, based on the results of scientific research, which has been carried out quite a lot.
How do anabolics affect endurance?
In the experiment, which will now be discussed, biathletes took part, who conducted training camps in high mountainous terrain. The organizers of the study set themselves the task of determining the effect of Nerobol on the body's ability to tolerate high loads, the metabolism of iron (Fe) and methionine (Se). For these purposes, the radiometry method was used.
All subjects were divided into two control and two experimental groups. Each athlete took supplements containing labeled iron and methionine. Some anthropometric measurements were also taken. In addition, the experimental groups took Nerobol, and the control groups did not. To obtain information on metabolism and the rate of absorption of iron and methionine, measurements were taken twice - immediately after taking the supplements and after completing the training session.
The results of the effect of the steroid on physiological and athletic performance can be found in Table 1. As a result, scientists received information that Fe and Se labels are excreted from the body according to two or three exponents.
If you pay attention to the results of studies of the third exponent - A3 and T3, then they characterize the metabolic rate of protein compounds. It can also be stated that the faster the protein is absorbed, the faster its metabolic processes proceed.
To be convinced of this, it is enough to look at the results of the representatives of the first group, whose assimilation rates and half-life were approximately the same. In turn, the athlete number 5 has the minimum values of these indicators, and this, in turn, he showed the worst sports indicators in the group. If we compare the data of all groups, then we can state the presence of a positive effect obtained from the use of Nerobol. In fairness, it should be admitted that not all results can be considered reliable, since not a large number of athletes took part in the study. However, even in this case, we have a lot of "food" for thought.
It is known that Nerobol perfectly stimulates the production of protein compounds, and for this reason it was quite possible to expect more outstanding results in gaining mass, which happened in practice. All other results were not so impressive, which is also quite understandable. The thing is that they are dependent on the speed of mass gain and the training experience of the athletes. You can get acquainted with this data in table 2.
Note that the steroid was taken three times a day in an amount of 5 milligrams on an empty stomach. As a result, erythritic blood mass increased in all athletes who were part of the experimental group. As you know, this indicator largely determines the body's endurance.
It should be noted that this fact was confirmed by the results of earlier experiments, in which scientists were also able to establish a positive effect of anabolic steroids on endurance.
