According to this recipe, cabbage is stewed with frozen mushrooms, which went through a boiling process before freezing. If you use store oyster mushrooms or champignons, then these types of mushrooms do not need to be cooked, but any forest mushrooms require mandatory preliminary boiling for at least 5-10 minutes in salted water. Dried mushrooms are steamed for half an hour in boiling water or 2 hours in cold water. You can also use canned mushrooms, they do not require any pre-processing. They only need to be rinsed under running water.

- Tomato sauce - 2-3 tbsp

Step-by-step cooking of mushrooms with cabbage in tomato, recipe with photo:
1. Wash and dry white cabbage with a paper towel. Cut it into thin strips.
2. With mushrooms, pre-process, depending on which you have chosen. Then cut the mushrooms into strips.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add cabbage. Fry it over medium heat, stirring occasionally, and bring to a light golden brown.

Make sure it is cooked to avoid over-extinguishing it and making it soft. The cabbage should be soft and firm at the same time.
