A very important property of guapomo - it normalizes protein and fat metabolism, and therefore is widely used for weight loss. With the help of these fruits, you can realize the dream of all those who are losing weight - to eat and not get better. When the pulp is consumed, the speed of peristalsis increases, the fatty layer formed around the internal organs breaks down into glycerin and water, water is excreted from the body, and glycerin is processed by the liver. At the same time, the reserve of nutrients is not depleted, immunity does not decrease and anemia does not develop. It was the effect of fat burning that made scientists study the properties of clusian fruits.
Bacupari seed oil and leaves are used to treat dermatological conditions and to heal skin wounds. With the help of dressings, the development of purulent-inflammatory processes can be prevented.
The sticky juice acts as a patch. When applied to fresh damage to the skin, it not only disinfects, but also tightens the edges of the wound and reliably protects from external influences.
Contraindications and harm to bacupari
Locals eat the fruits of garcinia without restrictions: they introduce them into the diet of children from a very young age, and continue to use them during pregnancy and lactation. But those who have recently become acquainted with a new taste need to be careful.
So that there is no harm when using bakupari, diuretic properties should be taken into account. During pregnancy, the load on the kidneys is already high, and during lactation, the body needs an excess amount of fluid to produce milk.
In children, the metabolic processes are already accelerated, and it is not worth stimulating them in the heat. Therefore, in a "special" position, the tropical fruit should be abandoned, and children should be introduced into the diet of a new product no earlier than the age of 5 years.
Traditional healers use the infusion of pulp as an antiseptic and sedative - it resembles nicotine in action. However, it should be borne in mind that the regular use of the "mixture" is addictive, and subsequently - drug withdrawal.
You can not eat fruits in diabetes mellitus due to the high glycemic index, in chronic pancreatitis - due to the stimulation of enzymatic activity.
The fruits are so delicious that overeating is difficult to avoid. The recommended norm for adults is 1-2 fruits per day. Larger amounts can cause diarrhea.
How do you eat bakupari
Locals consume the fruits together with the peel, squeeze the pulp into drinks, giving them a slightly sour taste. For this purpose, not very ripe fruits are used. They should not be eaten: at this stage they are so tart that they "burn" the mucous membrane of the mouth and make them sore.
Locals often make jam from the fruit, jelly, squeeze juice, make candied fruits and sweets.
And how do those who have only recently become acquainted with tropical sweetness eat bakupari? They peel off the easily peeling skin with their hands and suck out the juicy pulp, or cut the skin with a knife and scoop out the contents with a spoon.

To make jam or jelly, you should choose only ripe fruits with intact skin. If the skin is torn, juice is released from it, rotting quickly begins. That is why fruits are almost never exported outside South America: processing chemicals that are not absorbed by the pulp are not yet created.

Interesting facts about bakupari
Despite the high germination capacity of bakupari and self-pollination, it has not yet been possible to get a crop in winter gardens. For fruit to set, seed germination should begin immediately after the pulp is eaten - within 48 hours. If this condition is not met, the sprouts will hatch, but the tropical taste will fail.
The rest of the cultivation is quite simple - good lighting, regular watering. You can provide such a regime both in the winter garden and in your own apartment.
After planting, the seeds germinate within 2-2, 5 months, and then the tree forms quite slowly, the first flowers bloom only for 5 years. In South America, fruits appear on a tree after 7-8 years.
Bakupari wood is very beautiful in color. The cuts can be pink-brown with yellowish patterns, dark brown with burgundy veins. But furniture is not made from it - it is too soft and fragile. But for small crafts, it is ideal. Tool pens, children's furniture, pencils are made from it. Sharpening such a pencil is quite simple, even with a not very sharp knife.
