Although originally it was presented to us by the generous Balkan cuisine, which is rich in vegetable dishes and light savory snacks. This is an incredibly tasty and very healthy treat. An inexpressibly appetizing, aromatic and spicy appetizer will suit any feast or picnic. It is suitable for those who observe fasting, vegetarians and will serve as a great addition to barbecue and various meat dishes. And, of course, this is the perfect snack for spirits. It can be attributed simultaneously to cold or hot snacks.
Fried sweet bell peppers are prepared quickly, literally in half an hour, however, and they are eaten just as quickly! Pepper for the recipe is suitable for any variety and color. Although the appearance of the dish looks more appetizing if it is made from red pepper than from green or yellow. The taste remains the same. Also, give preference to ground pepper, because with it, there is a noticeable difference, both external and taste.

Ingredients:
- Sweet bell pepper (any color) - 5-6 pcs.
- Hot pepper - 0.5 pods
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
Step by step preparation of fried sweet bell peppers, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the bell peppers, dry with a paper towel and cut off the stalk. Remove the seed box and cut off the septa. Cut it into medium-sized wedges or cubes, whichever you prefer.
2. Wash the hot pepper, dry it, cut the pod to the required length and remove the seeds. they contain the maximum amount of pungency. Cut it into medium sized pieces.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add sweet and hot peppers.
4. Fry them over medium heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and black pepper. Add chopped or pressed garlic if desired. When the fried bell peppers become plastic with a golden crust, serve them with any side dish.
