We are convinced that the dish should not only be tasty, aromatic and satisfying, but also in appearance it should be appetizing, as they say, from which you cannot take your eyes off. This is exactly the dish we want to cook with you: chicken hearts in pots with vegetables and sour cream. It combines not only aromas and tastes (vegetables and spices complement the taste of hearts), but also the colors of those products that make up its composition: bright red peppers, orange carrots, green peas.
It is understood that chicken hearts in pots should be cooked in portions and such a dish can be served as hot even on a festive table. But you can simplify the task and bake food in one heat-resistant dish; in this case, it will be more like a vegetable stew with meat and will become the star of the table during a family lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:
- Chicken hearts - 300-400 g
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- Green peas - 200 g
- Sour cream - 3-4 tbsp. l.
- Salt, pepper - to taste

To prepare 1 serving, put up to 10 hearts on the bottom of each pot (depending on the size of the pot and the volume of the intended portion). We pre-wash the hearts under running water, remove blood clots. Do not forget to salt to taste and add your favorite spices: ground black pepper and aromatic herbs: rosemary, thyme, oregano.
We prepare vegetables: wash, clean and grind them. Cut the onion into strips, carrots into small pieces, sweet peppers into medium-sized slices.
In a small amount of vegetable oil, season the vegetables a little in a frying pan. Salt and pepper them a little.
Put carrots, onions and peppers on top of the hearts, pour 2-3 tablespoons of peas. It is better to use frozen peas for this dish: its taste will be much softer. However, if this is not at hand, you can replace it with canned.
Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream, cover the pot with a lid and put in the oven. We bake chicken hearts with vegetables for 30 minutes at 180-190 degrees.
Serve to the table, garnished with fresh chopped herbs if desired.
