Hot sandwiches, it is impossible to think of a lighter and more satisfying snack. They are prepared for breakfast, for a picnic, for a festive table, for a quick and hearty snack, and in general they are ideal as an addition to any meal. They are made with many different ingredients. The most delicious sandwiches are considered with the addition of cheese. Because under the temperature it melts and forms a beautiful ruddy crust. Sandwiches are baked in the oven, microwave or in a frying pan. In most cases, the bread dries slightly from the bottom and a crispy crust forms, and the crumb, thanks to the filling, always remains juicy and soft. They always turn out to be amazingly appetizing, fragrant and juicy, and the feeling of satiety is definitely provided for several hours.
Today I propose to make the most common version of a hot sandwich with sausage, cheese and ketchup. Even a schoolboy can make this mini pizza, instant cooking. This makes the appetizer tasty and appetizing. In addition to the proposed ingredients, you can add tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, olives, olives, corn, pickled cucumbers, boiled eggs to hot sandwiches …

Step by step preparation of hot sandwiches with sausage, cheese and ketchup, recipe with photo:
1. Use a sharp knife to cut a small slice about 1-1.5 cm thick from the bread.
2. Brush it with ketchup. You can add more mustard, mayonnaise or another favorite sauce if you like.
3. Cut the sausage into pieces of any shape. It can be cubes, straws, slices, or any other convenient shape. Place the sausage slices on top of the bread.
4. Cut the cheese into convenient pieces, also of any convenient shape, or grate on a coarse grater. Place the cheese on top of the sausage. I prefer to cut it into thin slices of 2-3 mm, because cheese shavings on sandwiches do not hold well.
5. Microwave the sandwich for 30 seconds at maximum power to melt the cheese. In the absence of a microwave, you can bake it in the oven for 5 minutes. Serve ready-made hot sandwiches with sausage, cheese and ketchup immediately after preparation with a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee.
