1. Pour dried apricots with hot water for 5 minutes to wash off the harmful coating. Then rinse under cold running water. Place on a paper towel and dry well.
2. Hazelnuts, if not fried, pre-dry in a clean and dry frying pan or on a baking sheet in the oven. Inside the dried apricots, through the hole from which the producers removed the seeds, insert the hazelnuts.
3. If the nuts are small and the dried fruits are large, you can put 2 nuts in each nut.
4. Break the chocolate into pieces, put in a bowl and melt in a water bath or microwave. Watch the firebox so that the chocolate does not boil, otherwise it will acquire a bitterness that cannot be eliminated.
5. Dip dried apricots into melted chocolate.
6. Swirl the dried apricots in the icing until they are completely covered with chocolate.
7. Place the chocolate-coated dried apricots with hazelnuts on baking parchment or cooking foil. Leave the homemade candy at room temperature for 15 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator.
