Ingredients:
- Dried apricots - 100 g
- Walnuts - 75 g
- Sunflower seeds - 50 g
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Prunes - 50 g
Step-by-step preparation of lean sweets from dried fruits, a recipe with a photo:
1. Place walnuts and sunflower seeds in a dry and clean frying pan. Fry the kernels over medium heat, stirring occasionally until they become golden brown.
2. Wash dried apricots with prunes with cold water and place in a deep bowl. Pour boiling water over dried fruits and leave for 5-7 minutes. If fruit dehydrators have seeds inside, remove them. When buying dried fruits, take minimally chemically processed, i.e. not very bright or shiny.
3. Then drain the water and dry the fruit well with a paper towel.
4. Place the prunes in the chopper bowl.
5. Next add dried apricots.
6. Send walnuts with sunflower seeds there.
7. Close the chopper with the lid and turn on the appliance.
8. Convert food into a homogeneous mass. Depending on the whipping time, the mixture can be smooth and smooth, or the food can be left in small pieces. This is the choice of the hostess. I like the last option better, so that you can feel the taste of each ingredient.
If there is no chopper, twist the food through a meat grinder. Here, too, choose a shallow grate for a homogeneous mass, and with coarse holes for a coarse grind.
9. Wet your hands with water to prevent the mixture from sticking and form small round candies for one bite, maximum two.
10. Pour cocoa powder into a bowl and add one candy at a time.
11. Breaded the cocoa candies so that they are coated on all sides with powder. Place the lean dried fruit sweets on a platter and refrigerate for half an hour to freeze and cool.
