Sometimes you really want homemade pizza, but you don't always have time to cook it, knead the dough, wait for it to grow … Therefore, you have to choose an excellent alternative - ready-made puff pastry. It does not need to be cooked, but simply bought, thawed and used. The most important thing is to get it out of the freezer one hour before you start cooking the pizza. It is convenient to store such frozen dough for future use and use it as needed.
Today I decided to cook not an ordinary pizza, but a puff pizza, i.e. Cover the entire filling with dough on top. It is much more convenient to take such pastries with you on the road, to work, to give children to school … Such an amazing pizza will become a real lifesaver for a variety of occasions. You can experiment with fillings for the product. Choose absolutely any products that you like the most. For example, zucchini, cheese, mozzarella, feta, tomatoes, mushrooms, pineapples, eggplant, ham, onions, herbs, olives … The list is endless.

Step-by-step preparation of pizza puffs from ready-made puff pastry, recipe with photo:
1. Remove the dough from the freezer and defrost at room temperature, without using the microwave. Then place it on a floured countertop and roll it out with a rolling pin so that the dough doubles in size from its original size. Put it on a baking sheet, apply ketchup and mustard.
2. Spread the sauce all over and sprinkle with finely chopped garlic and finely chopped onion half rings. Put the products on only half of the dough, because we will cover the filling with the second half.
3. Place the eggplant sticks and tomato rings on top of the dough. Pre-fry the eggplants in a pan in vegetable oil. This recipe uses frozen tomatoes and blue ones. How to prepare them for future use, you can find out in a step-by-step recipe with a photo on the pages of the site, using the search bar.
4. Cut the sausages into thin rings and place on top of the vegetables.
5. Pour mayonnaise on the sausage and sprinkle with cheese shavings.
6. Fold the free edge of the dough and fasten the edges. Make cuts on it to allow steam to escape. If desired, brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg, milk or butter until golden brown.
7. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake a puff pizza from the finished puff pastry for half an hour. Serve hot, although chilled as well.
